Semi-annual Financial Report completed by Colliers based upon
all of our bank transactions for the past six months. Copy on file.
President’s Report
•
Beach cabana stairs replaced due to liability/injury issues
Weeds will be treated in gravel once a year.
Old business
Hydrolic permit approved by Fish & Wildlife

There’s a possibility of using anchor screws in place of ecology blocks

Bids will begin to be collected for the project

Another assessment will need to be collected from membership
Rental policy
•
Due to attorney advisement/costs and necessary bylaw changes, this issue
will not be acted upon.
Facilities Manual
•
Will be taken to Office Depot for copies: one will be given to the president; one filed at the sewer plant; one filed at the water plant.
Tree removal
•
2 dead trees removed at park to avoid any damage due to falling over
•
1 fir tree, several willows on west side of beach road taken down to protect road due to high winds loosening roots;
•
Several alder trees removed along one of TBBC main sewer easement (behind Graybeal) to protect main sewer line from tree trunks breaking the line.
Owners will maintain vegetation along this easement.
Sewer Plant
Sewer plant tank coating still needed. We’re waiting to hear from GHC for bid to do the project. Also we may need to replace anodes (dissolved??)
located underground in the 4 corners outside of the tank.
New Business
New security system research still in process.
It was determined that a high pixel and high color resolution will be needed
for new cameras in order to retrieve the information at the gate that we want.
Homeowners again are reminded to add their own security system on their own property if they are concerned in protecting property.
Gate entry boxes for realtors
•
New realtor’s entry boxes needed like the one used by Schneider’s realtor
as it emails the realtor when someone uses this entry box.
•
Leroy to show Steve on how to delete the numbers of the old, obsolete entry cards from the gate system.
•
Steve to call Stanford’s realtor and ask her for a new entry box.
•
Harold Mattoon volunteered to investigate further on gate security system.
Laue’s property going to auction sale in Tacoma on December 12
Beach road signs
Due to the trees being trimmed down along beach road, it was suggested that
to investigate what is available to buy.
some “visual” separation of some kind be installed alongside
the road. Sue
Road repairs scheduled for 9/29 and 9/30.
Please send in your assessment payment if not already done so.
There will be crushed asphalt available to our members to anyone who would like some for a driveway/etc. Please let Alice know if you would like your
name on the list.
The next Board Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 27 th, at 10:00am at the beach cabana.
October Members Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00am at the Longbranch Church hall.
